Second acquisition in one month for Smeal Fire Apparatus

US-based Smeal Fire Apparatus (Smeal) announced that the company has purchased US Tanker Fire Apparatus (UST),  as of July 1. Rosenbauer International AG has signed an agreement to acquire a 75% stake in the British partner firm North Fire plc, based in Holmfirth in West Yorkshire. The company has annual revenues of approx. € 3.5 million and around 10 staff, and has been the distribution and service partner for personal protective equipment, components, aerial appliances and municipal vehicles from Rosenbauer.

Supplied with a complete trailer system, the boat can be easily towed behind a brigade vehicle. The boat will be used primarily for training on rivers and lakes but, if required, it is ready to be deployed in a real life emergency.
